Twisted kids’ entertainer Ivan Russell, 42, bumped into the footie legend and his wife Victoria once in a restaurant.
But the monster — who abused children at holiday camps over 18 years —
used a photo of himself with the couple to convince youngsters he was
Becks’ personal magician.
Expat Russell, who met the Beckhams while living in Spain in 2006, was caught after his suspicious girlfriend Georgie Hill, 44, tipped off cops.
She told The Sun: “The kids were like, ‘Oh my God he knows the Beckhams’. They hero-worshipped Ivan because of it. He’d try to get me to pretend I was Victoria on the phone but I refused.”
After overhearing Russell talk about sick images of kids on his laptop, Georgie persuaded him to return to Britain, where police arrested him.
They discovered he had attacked kids in Lancashire, Great Yarmouth and his home town, Daventry, Northants, before moving to Spain.
He was convicted of 12 counts of indecent assault, one of indecency with a child and four of sexual assault on a child at Northampton Crown Court.
